We care about everyone's events as if they were our own. If we think the event isn't going how we think you would have liked it, we try everything possible to change the mood to help make it perfect. After all it is YOUR night! One of our many moto's is that "Every client is family, treat them as if they were King or Queen." I promise you will have made the BEST choice with our company. Know Who You Hire

Are you hiring a booking agent, or a DJ Company? With an agent, you will probably never even meet or talk to your DJ before your event. This can lead to a very disappointing "Unforgettable Day" for you and your guests. At Precision Productions whenever you call us you will talk to an actual person or Events Coordinator who has access to your information (usually 24 hours a day!). We are in the service business, and we believe in helping you in any way, at any time, no matter what! Precision Productions is one of the most respected and well known companies in the mobile disc jockey business. Most people plan an event a year ahead of time. Make sure the company you hire will be around next year. Precision Productions has been satisfying customers for over 8 years.

Stage Appearance Is Important

From DJ attire to equipment, our professional stage appearance is enviable. You will never see cords, milk crates or mismatched components thrown into cardboard boxes at a Precision Productions event! What if your DJ's equipment quits at your event? We have done over 15,000 shows and never had a single equipment failure, and if ever a problem should arise, we have back-up equipment built into every show.

What About Price

Most DJ's fees are negotiable depending on the date you are requesting. We have prime seasons, just like hotels and airlines. Wedding months and Christmas time are our peak seasons and during our "off season" you can expect to save some money!

Be Careful

Beware of unprofessional sales pitches including unbelievable claims of enormous music libraries, unfounded criticism of competition, suspiciously low price or lack of interest in your requests and concerns. Precision Productions is one of the largest entertainment companies in Michigan. We take our business very seriously. We want your event to be unforgettable and we are diligent in making every show unforgettable". Remember you can sort hype from fact by asking for references.

Do I need a DJ for my Event?

The cost for hiring a professional DJ is small compared to most other wedding purchases, and the right entertainer has an enormous impact on your wedding night. The entertainment you choose can be the success or failure of your special night.

Some things to think about:

- Average Jane will give you a decent haircut for a good price. But, for your unforgettable Wedding Day, you will go to a Salon.- Flowers from the local Wal-Mart are inexpensive and convenient. But, for your unforgettable Wedding Day, you will hire a Florist.- Your care is very reliable and gets you where you need to go. But, for your unforgettable Wedding Day you probably will hire a Limousine or other type of transportation.- Inexpensive disposable cameras take decent pictures. But, for your unforgettable Wedding Day you will hire a Photographer.

Some things you should know!

What do I tell the Reception Venue/Facility about the DJ?Setup-You should position your DJ right on the dance floor, in full view ofeveryone. This insures the DJ will have a general overview of the entireevent, and have full lines of communication to the banquet staff,photographer, etc. Try to avoid placing the DJ behind any guests. Wedon't want to blast them with a speaker.Access-Ask your hall to make sure a large, sturdy table or skirted banquet table(your preference). Also electrical outlets are readily available.

Event TIPS!Dim the Lights!People are more likely to party down when the lighting level is low.Sometimes, in the case of an afternoon event at a country cluboverlooking the golf course, this obviously is not possible. Daylight willdefinitely be a part of your event. Fear not, although an afternoon eventis sometimes a bit more subdued, they can get just as crazy as the rest!Some of my most memorable events have been held in the afternoon.Having a dance floor!Any hard surface will do. Using existing carpet will intially make yourguests hesitant to get involved.Volume!Have you ever wondered why the music at clubs is so loud!? Peopleneed to hear the beat of the music over the tapping noise of their"dancing feet" against the floor. The same principle applies here: Wekeep the music at a level so people won't hear their footsteps. This is agreat way to encourage people out to the dance floor who feel "theycan't dance."Using those interactive dances!We know, sometimes folks just don't think "YMCA" is a right fit at anevent. But it WILL break the ice and get everyone dancing. We hear"YMCA" and all those interactive dances everyweek. They work. But ifevent, we'll hear it again soon!What about the right music?What do your guest want to hear? How can we guarantee everybody willhave a good time?As far as your event goes, and excluding age specific events like schooldances, you will probably have a wide age range of folks attending. It isour goal to play a wide variety of proven "good time" music that appealsto everyone. What usually works well is for the sponsoring group topick about ten songs they really like. That way, we have an excellentidea of what they prefer, and it gives us the latitude of reading thecrowd, and accepting song requests from guests. Sometimes if aquestionable song is a very big hit we will play the edited version, or theversion heard on the radio.
